Salah Hailat  

Ground Instructor and Safety Management Systems’ Manager

PhD degree in Aerodynamics following his BSc degree in Aeronautical Engineering.  Captain Salah started his career back in 1984 with the Royal Jordanian Air Force. He served for twenty-seven years holding various maintenance and managerial posts during which he’s had the opportunity to deliver training courses in aircraft maintenance, quality and maintenance management to air force personnel. During his service also he had the opportunity to chair and manage a project concerning major structural and avionics modifications of a fleet of fighter aircrafts.

After retiring Captain Salah was appointed as CEO for the Jordan Aeronautical Systems Company (An Air Force-owned company which is a maintenance Repair and Overhaul Center (MRO) for Boeing and C-130 aircraft, both military and civilian) for more than 3 years; then moved on to become the Training Manager and AMO/CAMO manager at Mideast Aviation Academy for one year after which he joined Ayla Aviation Academy for the past since Dec 2014.

 

Besides his role in AYLA as a Safety Management System Manager, Captain Salah is a ground school instructor (GI), with approval from the Civil Aviation Regulatory Commission (CARC) in Jordan to teach the following subjects: Principles of Flight, Aircraft General Knowledge (Systems and Power Plant), Instrumentation, Mass& Balance, and Electrics.
