JAA Frozen ATPL (Modular)
Our Modular program is designed primarily for students that are not able to commit to our full-time integrated course. It gives the student greater flexibility in choosing the pace at which they would like to complete the entire course. Students go through their training in different ‘modules’. Completing each module successfully is a precondition to moving on to the next one. Although it is not a recommended practice, students have the option of taking breaks in between modules for any other commitments they might have.
Let me take you through each phase of the program:
The Private Pilots License (PPL) is all that is required to commence training for the JAA ATPL. The course involves a mix of ground school instruction as well as flying. Upon completion, you will be the holder of a private pilot license, issued by the Jordanian Civil Aviation Regulatory Commission. This enables you to benefit greatly from the ideal weather conditions here in Aqaba, and start your structured hour building that is required for your commercial pilot license.
The JAA ATPL ground school is 38 weeks in a fully equipped classroom, studying for the 14 written examinations. You will have access to online material to study outside of lectures, and our extensive JAA student library, ensuring that you achieve the passes first time. This course experiences first time pass rates as high as 98%. For your comfort and to ensure you benefit the most from this course, we have it divided into three separate modules. Here is a breakdown of the subjects offered.

After successfully completing your ATPL ground theoretical, that is where you take to the skies. You will be flying with our highly qualified flight instructors, some with thousands of hours of experience as previous airline and air force pilots. You will also be building the solo hours required towards your commercial pilot license issuance. You greatly benefit from the opportunity to fly both in Jordan and the UK, exposing yourself to two different environments and gaining a lot more experience. Here you will start training for your Instrument Rating, as well as your JAA Multi Engine Commercial License. In as little as three months time, you will finally be able to start reaping the benefits of all your hard work!
